Fourth closed session: Future of ASEM

At the final session of the Summit, leaders invited six new partners to participate in the ASEM process. They adopted the Helsinki Declaration on the Future of ASEM and inaugurated the ASEM Virtual Secretariat. Leaders also adopted the Declaration on Climate Change and the ASEM 6 Chairman's Statement. Leaders accepted with gratitude the offer of China to host ASEM7.
