ASEM 6 cultural events
Asian culture, including marionette theatre, dance and Chinese opera, was performed in connection with the Helsinki ASEM 6 Summit. A series of various cultural events was staged throughout Finland in 2006.
The series of cultural events was organised in collaboration with the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF). The cultural events related to ASEM 6, together with the information campaign "Aasiaan!", coordinated by the Department for Development Policy at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, constituted a theme year on Asia.
